Goderich After The Storm

Goderich after the storm resembled many of the photographs that depicted Ypres, Arras and Albert after intense shell fire laid waste to these historic cities in the years 1915 thru to 1918. Goderich looked every bit a war zone complete with bombed out buildings.Goderich after storm And like many of the soldiers still left standing after the horrific destruction of such cities so too stood the soldier of the Goderich courthouse memorial.

The whole area was cordoned off by police when I arrived at the site of the tornado. Getting in close was tricky. I switched to my old but faithful Nikon film camera and 200mm lens to get the shot. An unbelievable site.
